Located at 310 Harrison Ave. in downtown Panama City, The Press is a coffee shop serving up delicious drinks and your favorite snacks from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day of the week. It emerged in the aftermath of the devastating Hurricane Michael in 2018 as the city rebuilt. The Press is a gathering place where you can use a booth for a workspace while enjoying some coffee and crepes or other goodies, or you can fully relax while eating. The shop offers every coffee drink you could want, as well as beverages such as teas and hot chocolate.

The food items center around delicate crepes that come in several options. The classic French crepe comes sprinkled in sugar. If you’re a Nutella fan, you’ll want to try Riding with the King, the shop’s signature crepe, with banana, Nutella, and peanut butter. If you love berries, try the Fruitie Tootie, featuring blueberries and cream, or the Strawberries and Cream, which is as the name says, fresh ripe strawberries and whipped cream wrapped inside a soft crepe. If you like a little cheese with your fruit, you’ll love the Apples and Brie Cheese, with warm cinnamon, baked apples, and soft brie.

Fat & Weird Cookies

The tall, lumpy cookies have unique flavors and combinations you’ve probably never had before, and some even have a soft cream filling. If you like cheesecake, try the Razzle Dazzle, which has a raspberry cheesecake core, white chocolate chips in the cookie base, and a graham cracker crumb topping. The Cherry Bomb is a cherry red cookie with a lime frosting core.
